Grapefruit spritz
No aperitivo bottle. Grapefruit does the bitter work.

Ingredients & ratios
Pink citrus and prosecco. · 1 drink
- 90 mlProsecco, chilled
- 40 mlFresh grapefruit juice
- 20 mlSoda water, chilled
- 1Grapefruit wheel
Steps
Build it in a wine glass.
- 1Pour grapefruit juice over ice.
- 2Top with prosecco and a little soda.
- 3Add the wheel.

Fresh grapefruit is bitter enough to stand where an aperitivo usually stands. That makes this a useful spritz when you do not want another orange liqueur in the house.
Sweetened grapefruit soda is a different recipe and usually too sweet next to prosecco. Juice, then a plain soda splash.
