  • 60 mlAlcohol-free bitter orange aperitivo
  • 30 mlSoda water, chilled

Steps

Build it in a wine glass.

The non-alcoholic version stands or falls on the aperitivo bottle. You want a bitter, not a fruit soda dyed orange. If the only orange bottle in the house is alcoholic, make the virgin Hugo or the lemon cooler instead of pretending.

Dry NA bubbly matters just as much. A sweet one plus 60 ml of aperitivo-style syrup tastes like a float.
